Dear Brothers / Sisters thank you for showing interest in our new iPhone apps for Amrit Bani Radio and greetings to all of you and all your family members. Amrit Bani Radio is the world’s first Gurbani radio station where the majority of programs are broadcasted in the holy presence of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj. We have a specially designed room where the pavitar saroop of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is kept, a separate room for maharaaj’s sukh-aasan is also present in the top floor of the studio.

As you know Amrit Bani Radio is working very hard for the last several years to spread the Gurbani and teachings of our Guru Ji throughout the world. Special programs are broadcasted on all occasions like Gurpurabs, Sangrands etc. Amrit Bani Radio has also started a special programme of Gurbani Santhiya which has already completed four times and it is again continuing again. Thousands of people have learned the right way of pronouncing and reading Gurbani and thousands are still be learning.

As Bhai Gurdas Ji said:

"Jaise Sat Mandir Kanchan Ke Usaar Dine" "Tesa Pun Sikh Kao Ik Shabad Sikhaye Ka"

- You may build hundreds of temples with gold and donate but the teaching of one word of Gurbani to a Sikh is a more holy.


Amrit Bani Radio is running solely with the co-operation of the saadh sangat and there are NO advertisments played at anytime unlike other radio stations. There should be at least one radio in this world for the Khalsa Panth where 24 hours nonstop Gurbani Kirtan, Katha, Ithaas etc. is broadcasted. Here at Amrit Bani Radio we aim to be that radio station with the help of you, the saadh sangat ji.

There are over 7 hundred thousands sikhs living in the UK and countless sikhs living worldwide. Our aim is to get at least 2011 sikh families to come forward and donate £10 each month (£120 yearly) which will help us to spread the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji to the whole world. This radio is running with the co-operation of the saadh sangat ji but to keep it running we need more help from you.
